The album makes the Top Ten before the movie is even released.June 1992 - New York City alternative metal band Helmet release their major label debut, Meantime, on Interscope. The album reaches #68 US.July 1992 - New York native Mary J. Blige releases her debut album - What's the 411? on Uptown Records.
